Since first gathering for the inaugural Festival on the banks of the Neches River in 1949, generations have returned each spring to celebrate the cherished history and exciting future of two of our most valuable resources: our youth and our river. This year’s theme “River Reflections” celebrates the historic platinum anniversary of the Festival. We are forever grateful to those who began this cherished community event over 75 years ago. How extraordinary it is that children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of those visionaries return year after year to participate in this celebration! |
