"CTRL-ALT-DELETE is a collection of ace musicians from different local area bands just getting together to do what they love... playing classic rock covers! The collaboration goes as far back as 1978, when lead vocalist Jon Dufour and lead guitarist Michael Gregory were attending San Juan High School together and formed a band called Burnt Toast. A few decades and multiple carreers later, they are joined by bassist Chris Mancuso from Diva Roxx, drummer Paul Farman from Crossman Connection, and keyboardist Kevin Whalen from Jax Hammer to bring you an exciting evening filled with all the classics from CCR, The Beatles, and The Stones, to the Eagles, Doobie Brothers, and Jimmy Hendricks! Something in there for everybody!"
CTL+Alt+Del Band Bio, Jon Dufour (guitar/vocals) graduated, to the great relief of his teachers and counselors, from San Juan High school. During his studies he formed a bond with many local musicians and has been in the music scene here in Northern CA since covered wagons were still a “pretty cool idea.” He studied Music and Musical Theater at Sierra College and put his training to work in the Grand Music Hall at Marriot’s Great America. Always wanting to learn all sides of the industry, he worked with Sacramento Theatrical Lighting under the supervision of Mark Mauricio as a Union “Helper” setting up several shows at Arco Arena and other venues. Today Jon fronts the vocals for CTRL-ALT-DELETE! Michael Gregory (lead guitar/vocals) returned to his hometown of Sacramento in 2018 after 20 years in Nashville, where he recorded and toured with multiple #1 artists, made appearances on late night TV shows, played the Grand Ole Opry... I mean, doesn't everyone?!!! Now Michael adds his amazing talents on the lead guitar to local bands such as Quinn Hedges, the Aaron Gayden Band, Sky Kings, CCSegeR, Lando-Koop, and of course CTRL-ALT-DELETE! Chris Mancuso gives us that rock solid bass and backup vocals when he's not busy playing Sacramento area venues with cover band Diva Rox. Drummer Paul Farman has been enrapturing audiences with his ultra-precise chops for over thirty years, having studied under Barry Mraz (Styx producer) and Charlie Shoemake (The Tonight Show), and having played with some of L.A.’s finest musicians such as Rockandi, which was Vince Neil’s first band that later morphed into Motley Crue. In the 90's Paul moved to Nashville and began working with The Imperials, Conway Twitty, Robert Keith and even did several shows with the great Scotty Moore (guitarist for Elvis). These days when he's not busy drumming full-time for Crossman Connection, Paul hits the skins with CTRL-ALT-DELETE. And when he's busy, Ed Koop rounds out the band adding his considerable skills on the skins, coming to us from his Pat Benatar cover band "Invincible." Kevin Whalen is the newest addition to the group, bringing his keyboards, lead vocals, and harmonies into the mix when he's not out playing solo as, "Kevin and the Keyboard Shortcuts," or performing with his own classic rock cover band, "Jax Hammer."
