Jenn likes her Barbies, her version of MTV music videos, and working it ALL out . In her first solo show ever since her bedroom at the age of 7, Jenn uses props and pop music from her past and present to examine whatever and get her through the week...just like she use to. Critics have called Jenn “Fun to watch”, “Wonderfully droll”, “She puts a quirky spin on both verbal and physical comedy”, “Minimalist's discipline and unshakeable onstage sangfroid”, “Jenn Harris takes audiences down comedic rabbit holes.”
Jenn's friends call her:
Randy- “Ugh. Creative, hilarious, ingenious, whacky, astute, absurdist, fierce.”
Matt- “Ballsy, weird, explosive, fun, stupid, childish, brave, crazy, joyful, positive, energetic.”
Jamie (No longer a friend)- “....nice...when you know you are gonna get something free. Kinda dominating, but clean.”
Me: “Dad how would you describe my work? In one word?”
Dad: “Are you talking about the writing stuff or the performance stuff? I don't know but we are kinda biased. We've never seen anything bad unless we are going to go back to college stuff, but even then it wasn't your fault because it was the writing, but anything we've seen you do, you do great, and steal the show and it's like, Jesus God! It's nuts. Come on already! We are disappointed in the business. I mean GOD!...Okay, ONE word to describe your work, ahh...I don't know? Great for us. 'Great' I guess? Overachieving. Well, I guess you could take that as bad, but you know. Uh...Underappreciated. You can give that to the casting directors. I mean the business department is disappointing. But it ain't over. I mean how old is that guy from WHIPLASH? And no one even knew him except for that insurance commercial, and but still, he was old then! I mean how old was Kevin Spacey before he got the movie 7?”
