The Originals present 2007 Olivier Award Nominee – Best New Comedy LOVE SONG By John Kolvenbach
Beane (C. James Roberts) is a socially awkward and lonely exile, alienated from life; unable to experience the world as others do around him. His protective and driven sister Joan (Jennifer Porter) and well-meaning brother-in-law Harry (Rob Cameron) try to help him connect to the world, but their efforts seem in vain. Following a burglary on Beane’s apartment, Joan is unsettled to find her brother blissfully happy and madly in love with his hotheaded burglar, Molly (Elisabeth Hardcastle.) Soon Joan and Harry themselves fall under the enchanting spell of Beane’s joy, exhilarated by the simple pleasures of being alive; tastes, colors, sunlight, and the warmth of another’s touch. Don’t miss this whimsical and infectious celebration of love in all its forms. Also featuring Josh Brassard. Directed by Dana Packard.
Admission $25 for Adults, $22 for Students and Seniors. Sunday, April 19th Matinee is $20 (includes a post-show talk-back with director and actors) Thursday, April 23rd is pay-what-you-can. Contains adult language. FOR RESERVATIONS, CALL 207-929-5412
