Chabot College's Music Department Presents their fall jazz band concert, featuring award-winning trombonist Andy Martin. High School guest bands will be Mt Eden Swinging Monarchs & Hayward High School Jazz Band.

A little bit more about our featured artist:

Andy Martin, a trombonist from a musical family, made his mark in his teens and became a fixture in the LA music scene. A renowned instructor, he has influenced aspiring trombonists nationwide. With twelve albums as a leader or co-leader, Martin has collaborated with jazz luminaries like Carl Fontana and Bobby Shew. He excels as a lead player and soloist, performing with notable big bands including Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band and the Bill Holman Big Band. Martin's mastery extends to commercial recordings, soundtracks (150+ films), and live TV shows such as Dancing With The Stars and American Idol.
