Why are we sick?There is so much misunderstanding in both the medical community and the church about the causes of disease in mankind. Yet crucial answers to man’s diseases and problems have been laid out in the Bible for thousands of years.

Physical health and disease begin deep on the inside of us, a place no one can see with their physical eyes.

But it is here, at the core of who we are, not just as physical beings, but as spiritual beings too, that we are formed in how we think, speak, and act in our everyday life. Over time we become rooted and formed in these ways of thinking, speaking, and acting, which eventually produce ongoing physical and mental health or ongoing physical and mental dysfunction.

Deep on the inside is where God wants to meet each person to begin strengthening them with love, peace, and joy so that the fruit of physical health and sanity will be something they can continually enjoy throughout their life.

But we do have an enemy who is able to influence us on the inside. We may not have known it, but scripture clearly defines that we have an enemy that can influence us with fear, guilt, and shame that produces the fruit of sickness and dysfunction within ourselves and our relationships.

It is time for our enemy to be EXPOSED, and for our Father in heaven and the Lord Jesus Christ to be EXALTED!
