In recent seasons, Angel Blue has emerged as one of the most beloved sopranos before the public today. The two-time Grammy Award winner has triumphed at the MET as Violetta in La Traviata, Mimi in La Boheme, Bess in Porgy and Bess, and the central female role in Terrence Blanchard's Fire Shut Up in My Bones.

For her Parlance debut recital, Angel Blue and pianist Bryan Wagorn will perform a program cherished songs, opera arias, and spirituals.
