Join us for a magical afternoon filled with artmaking and adventures, benefitting contemporary art experiences for local K-12 students. The Very ‘Rary will take over the lawns, woods, and shoreline of Laguna Gloria with experiences that play on illusion, inspired by the park's many sculptures throughout the grounds. 

Highlights include high rising aerialist performances by Sky Candy inspired by Tom Friedman’s towering sculpture, Looking Up. Glass Half Full Theater and Polly Mermaid will transform our lakeside amphitheater into an underwater grotto with puppetry alongside Wengechi Mutu’s Water Woman. Mad Science gets oozy with slime making experiments, School of Rock returns for a rockin' good time, and try your hand at the many art-making activities like dip dying, pinch pots, mosaic making, mural painting – the list goes on!

Plus, enjoy food and drink from some of Austin’s finest like All Day Pizza, Easy Tiger, Batch Brewery, JuiceLand, Tiff’s Treats, Siete, KIND Bars, with complimentary snacks and hydration at our Free Grab & Go Mart brought to you by Lake Austin Boulevard HEB.
