The Christmas story begins with a journey. A long, dangerous, and adventurous 90-mile road from Nazareth to Bethlehem taken by an unlikely couple on the fringes of society. And as we anticipate the incarnation of this Star of unconditional love to be laid in a manger of simple poverty, we can find our own life stories reflected back at us. Our life narratives of mountains and valleys, tension and resolution, hope and despair, darkness and light are intrinsically tied to Christ’s own, and every moment is filled with the Divine.
