Description

The centerpiece of this year's "Christmas with the Chorale" is Austrian composer Heinrich Biber's Magnificat for orchestra and choir. Our colorful program also offers a wide variety of music composed through the centuries to celebrate Christmas, including works by Byrd, Scheidt, Elgar, Britten, Tavener, Biebl and others. The Monterey Bay Sinfonietta will again join the Chorale, and, as is our tradition, the concert ends with favorite carols from around the world.

Additional Information

A season ticket package includes one ticket for the Christmas concert, one ticket to Brahms Requiem and a Hi5 Bonus Pass valid for admission to a concert by one of five local music groups.
