"this is a protest" is a contemporary and hip-hop dance performance about the many injustices of the world today. Such as governmental control, pharmaceutical dependency, agriculture, child trafficking, the state of our independence as a country, as well as who we are as individuals and our place in society. Our show is set to grunge rock music, primarily from the 90's, with bands such as System Of A Down, Alice In Chains, Black Mountain, Queens Of The Stone Age, Primus, Tool, Muse, Pearl Jam, and Hole. The choice of our music has a major input on the intention of our show being a protest to the hatred in the world as well as the love we experience simultaneously.
