Description
The Azalea String Quartet is a dynamic performing ensemble and quartet-in-residence at Valdosta State University, and is made up of the principal string players of the Valdosta Symphony Orchestra. The ensemble performs regularly throughout the Southeast in concerts and educational Programs. The group’s diverse repertoire encompasses the classics of quartet literature to the most contemporary of pieces, and has even ranged to multi-disciplinary works involving interpretive dance. The Quartet has appeared as a featured string quartet for the International Bartok Congress in Austin, Texas. Items Not Allowed
