Fado is a rich, intimate and intensely felt music that originated in Portugal in the 19th Century. While often described as “the Portuguese blues”, fado music interprets many sides of life; it may sound mournful and melancholic, flirtatious and seductive or wistful and nostalgic. Fado Nosso brings together these elements, along with influences from classical, jazz and Latin musical genres. |
