Description
Celebrate the festive season with
the beautiful sounds of the La Crosse BoyChoir as we share our Christmas
exaltation in song, featuring Benjamin Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols and
other sacred and secular holiday classics. Britten composed A Ceremony of
Carols in 1942 for a treble chorus, solo voices, and harp. The text of the
movements is based on The English Galaxy of Shorter Poems, edited by
Gerald Bullett. The La Crosse BoyChoir first performed A Ceremony of
Carols in December 1977.
