The PSO is thrilled to present Benjamin Loeb, a renowned conductor and pianist, as this season's first Divine Duo Guest Artist.  

Benjamin Loeb has mesmerized audiences worldwide with his dynamic performances ranging from classical masterpieces to world premieres of the most cutting-edge avant-garde contemporary music. His versatility shines through collaborations like recording Italian 16th century madrigalists with Yo-Yo Ma, touring with popular rock musicians, and collaborating as a concerto soloist with many other conductors.

As an Artistic Ambassador for the U.S. Department of State, Loeb has shared the music of Scott Joplin globally while mentoring young talents. His passion for nurturing young talent also led to the creation of the El Paso Symphony Youth and the establishment of the International Conducting Workshop and Festival, now in its twenty-second year.

Beyond music, Loeb is a devoted family man, residing in Plano, TX, with his wife, Quyen, and their three children. His diverse interests range from directing plays to cooking gourmet meals, tutoring, and sports, embodying a vibrant passion for life that mirrors his musical artistry.
