Description
Join us for our exciting two-day workshop!! In our long-running wind and solar workshop, we focus on instruction for both the beginner and the seasoned enthusiast. Participants will work with actual products to learn valuable real-world skills for putting together systems for their personal use. Additionally, you'll get to meet with our on-staff experts for detailed question and answer sessions. We provide alternative energy solutions to individuals and businesses looking to reduce their carbon footprint and lower their energy costs. We offer a wide range of wind and solar products, including an awesome 2-day workshop covering wind and solar alternative energy DIY. The workshop is designed to provide participants with hands-on experience in building and installing wind and solar systems. The first day of the workshop is dedicated to wind energy, and participants learn the necessary steps in developing a small wind power plant. They also learn about wind energy basics, including wind turbine design, tower selection, and wind speed considerations. The second day of the workshop is dedicated to solar energy, and participants learn how to design and install a solar power system for their home or business. They learn about solar panel selection, system sizing, and battery storage. They also learn about the basics of electricity, including how to measure voltage, current, and power. Throughout the workshop, participants have access to experienced instructors who provide guidance and answer questions. The instructors are passionate about alternative energy and have extensive knowledge in the field. They are patient and enthusiastic, and they make the learning experience fun and engaging. One of the best things about the workshop is the sense of community and camaraderie among participants. People from all walks of life come together to learn about alternative energy, and they share their knowledge and experiences with one another. This creates a supportive and encouraging environment where participants can learn from each other and build lasting connections. Missouri Wind and Solar's 2-day workshop covering wind and solar alternative energy DIY is an awesome experience for anyone interested in alternative energy. It provides hands-on experience, knowledgeable instructors, and a supportive community, all in a well-stocked facility. Whether you're a homeowner, business owner, or simply curious about alternative energy, this workshop is a great way to learn and get started on your journey towards sustainability. Participants are encouraged to travel in a vehicle capable of transporting materials. Literature and lunch are provided. Regarding Remote Attendance: You can get so much of this information free of charge on our YouTube channel. The real value of the class is being here in person and being able to work with the equipment - the hands-on portion. We feel that offering Zoom (or similar) ends up taking away from both sides of the class. If you have connection issues, etc. - and who hasn't with remote learning - we end up holding up the class trying to get cameras set, connections fixed etc. and so both the people in attendance and remote attendees suffer equal amounts of frustration.
