Lockport Drifters YTRAP String Band Description
Smoked Country Jam is a 3-day family-friendly event, tucked high in the mountains of the Pennsylvania Wilds. The festival brings together performers from all branches of the bluegrass tree. Whether the music is traditional or progressive, Americana, old time or Roots, all share the stage. The festival showcases the past, present and future of this American-made music. Lineups of national and regional performers bring over 40 hours of music to the stages each year. Held at The Quiet Oaks Campground, in Cross Fork, Pennsylvania, the event features a 3-day Lupus Auction benefiting The Lupus Foundation of America, Philadelphia Tri-state Chapter. There is a full schedule of bluegrass workshops and children’s activities, a vendor midway, and the Pennsylvania Heritage Songwriting Contest. The festival is both 4-wheeler and pet friendly. Festival field camping is permitted with Full festival & Friday/Saturday Combo tickets. Pre-festival tickets are available at Purple Pass, www.purplepass.com. Ticket levels include Full-festival, Single day Saturday, and Friday/Saturday Combo tickets. Thursday and Friday single-day tickets are not available. Glass bottles & glasses are discouraged, as bare feet & broken glass are a bad combination. Fireworks & luminaries are a fire danger and are not permitted on festival grounds. Weapons are not permitted. No drum circles or loud electronic music. Motorized vehicles may only be operated by those who are 16 & older.
