Kyle Rowland quickly and naturally developed his own sound.  With help from a few of his heroes such as James Cotton, Lazy Lester, Hubert Sumlin, Matt “Guitar” Murphy and many others, Rowland learned specific techniques of stage presence, the music business, and several highly revered harmonica secrets.  In August of 2022, Rowland signed an endorsement deal with harmonica company, Hohner, which he has proudly used for his entire career.

Buddy Emmer Blues Band has opened for James Cotton, Elvin Bishop, Lydia Pence & Cold Blood, Joe Bonamassa, Pinetop Perkins, Eddi the Chief Clearwater, CoCo Montoya, Tommy Castro, Tinsley Ellis, Kenny Neal, Tab Benoit, Big Bill Morganfield, Lon Lee Hooker II, Walter Trout, and Michael Burks, to name a few.  In addition, Buddy has shared the stage with Greg Allman, Jimmie Vaughn, Joe Bonamassa, Jerry LaCroix, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Kenny Neal, Michael Burks and many more.
