Join Media Chamber Chorale this spring for a concert that will thrill and inspire you! From Leonard Bernstein’s groundbreaking Chichester Psalms to Gershwin medleys and moving American spirituals, this is music to celebrate. Speaking of celebrations, John Stroud Jr. became our Director in 2004. Under his leadership MCC has brought outstanding music to our community with powerful voices and well-known musicians. At this concert, we'll be celebrating John for his 15 successful years with MCC! Media Chamber Chorale began in 1984 with a group of professional and dedicated amateur singers who wished to perform quality music in a chamber setting. We have performed annual winter and spring concerts since 1992, and we have been asked to sing at numerous community venues including Tyler Arboretum, Longwood Gardens, the Delaware County Summer Festival in Rose Tree Park, retirement communities, and the PA Renaissance Faire. We also perform annually at the Wallingford Community Arts Center's holiday craft fair. We sing diverse music that includes standard choral repertoire as well as spirituals, opera excerpts, show tunes, madrigals, and folk songs.
