Description

Enjoy the Apollo and Beyond show at the Pensacola State College Planetarium! The 24 Apollo astronauts who reached lunar orbit are the only humans to escape the bonds of Earth's gravitational pull. In Apollo and Beyond we share their exhilarating adventure on the moon and create a realistic future lunar colony where humans could enjoy this low gravity world. Then we explore the other worlds in our solar system, imagining how we might live and have fun there. Finally we look into the universe to understand what gravity really is and to appreciate its power in shaping our cosmos and determining our destiny. This show will be followed by a Live Narrated Night Sky Presentation! This will bring the total time in the Planetarium to roughly 1 hour.

*Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for your show. The show will begin promptly at 6pm and the doors will be shut and locked. There is no reentry to the show if you exit.

*Individuals with sensitivities to flashing lights should exercise caution.
