Description
Witness a glorious evening of drink-fueled idiocy and adults behaving poorly for money! An inebriated actor/narrator struggles to recount the story of Shakespeare’s Macbeth after imbibing five shots of whiskey, while a cast of professional, sober players enact the story as told by our drunken bedfellow with “helpful” suggestions from our “spirited” audience members. All of our professional acting company have appeared in and/or directed a staged version of Macbeth. This will be nothing like any of those. If your favorite character in Shakespeare is Falstaff and/or you simply enjoy bawdy humour and improvisation with a pretentious literary edge. This is your jam! “Drink is a great provoker…” Macbeth, Act II, Scene III *Drunk Shakespeare Macbeth is an adult’s only show. No one under the age of 21 will be admitted to this show. Performances may include: strong language, vulgarity, sexual humour, unpredictable audience interaction, spontaneous nudity and rough magick. We do not support excessive drinking. Our actors are adult participants who are carefully monitored and cared for. Our “drunk” actors do not drive home on performance nights. Please drink responsibly and designate a sober driver or ride service. |
