Join Home Brewed Events and Two Locals for Elevated Spirits Yoga Club, bringing yoga to everybody! 

This accessible regular class is meant for folks in the industry, hospitality, college students, musicians, and everyone else who has been practicing for years or who is curious about how to get into yoga. Move through an hour class with 200-hour certified yoga teachers who graduated from Monarch Yoga. The all-level class will be followed by a special Happy Hour with discounted drinks for anyone who attended the class.  

Sliding Scale: $8-$15 to make it accessible to everyone 

A Little Bit About the Instructors: 

Charlotte: A lifelong yoga lover freshly graduated from Monarch's 200-Hour Certification eager to share her passion with fellow industry workers. Charlotte has worked in the industry for over 15 years in various capacities and has relied on yoga as an island to hold onto in this ever-changing and evolving life. Look forward to a playlist of pop, indie, and happy granola vibes! 

Meredith: With over 14 years in the events, beer, and spirits industry and a busy small business owner, Meredith relies on yoga to maintain a balanced and mindful life. After finishing the 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with Monarch Yoga in Kensington, she is excited to make yoga accessible and available for everyone, especially for musicians and folks in the industry. Enjoy a playlist of punk, ska, emo, and indie music during her classes!

About Two Locals: Two Locals Brewing are two brothers, Richard and Mengistu, who were raised in Philadelphia. Mengistu was born in Liberia and came to this city when he was 7 years old. Richard was born and raised here in Philadelphia. 

In December of 2016 Richard purchased a one-gallon homebrew kit from Northern Brewer. After a couple of brews, they started brewing together in Mengistu's backyard and then Richard's kitchen. The more they got into the brewing industry, the more they realized the lack of black brewers and black-owned breweries. It is their mission to bring the first black-owned brewery to Philadelphia and show their community the opportunities available in the brewing industry. They have officially opened Two Locals Brewing Company located at 3675 Market St, in the uCity Square section of West Philly.
