Description
For 153 years, the Fisk Jubilee Singers have toured the globe. They were featured in The American Experience, a PBS award-winning television documentary series in a program titled "Singers: Sacrifice and Glory." The chorus has received three Grammy nominations, won a Dove Award, and received the National Medal of Arts presented by President George Bush. Over the past 20 years, they have recorded alongside Johnny Lang, Neil Young, Van Morrison, Danny Glover, Hank Williams Jr., Faith Hill, and Shania Twain just to name a few.
