Description
Isabel Allende's novel is re-imagined for the stage by OBIE-willing playwright Caridad Svich. This play tells the coming-of-age story of a woman born into poverty who journeys the world to find her voice as a storyteller and a holder of history. As reality and imagination blur through music and dance, Eva Luna follows the character's journey from youth to adulthood, introducing us to a cast of characters who change the course of Eva's life. By Caridad Svich Directed by Micha Espinosa Choreographed by Julia Chacon Content Transparency: Eva Luna explores mature themes, including sexual content, suicide, death, violence, and government oppression and revolution.
