Description

Set against the backdrop of the 17th-century Salem, Massachusetts, Arthur Miller's The Crucible is a relentlessly suspenseful and grippingly dramatic inquiry into the threshold between individual guilt and mass hysteria. This hauntingly moving tragedy unfolds as a Puritan town becomes embroiled in a witch trial around a group of young teenagers uncovering the power or words, paranoia, and consequences of false accusations.
