Center Stage Productions presents....Disney's Newsies The Broadway Musical at the Sutter Theater Center for the Arts. Our community's talented Youth have been working hard all summer to bring you this outstanding production. Be sure you get your tickets fast, we sell out every year! Newsies: The Musical is a musical with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Jack Feldman, and a book by Harvey Fierstein. The show is based on the 1992 musical film of the same name, which in turn was inspired by the real-life Newsboys Strike of 1899 in New York City, with Fierstein's script adapted from the film's screenplay by Bob Tzudiker and Noni White. No outside food or drinks allowed inside the venue. No alcohol, drugs, weapons, or glass containers allowed. No recording devices, professional cameras, or video cameras permitted. No transmission or aiding in transmitting any description, account, picture, or reproduction of the event, game, performance, or exhibition.
