Winterization Class

Join us on October 27th for a hands-on, educational class on winterizing your gardens! The event will be held at our nursery and will cover everything you need to know about preparing your gardens and maintaining your gardening equipment before the first frost.

Prepping your perennials, trees and shrubs for the upcoming winter months will ensure healthy, stronger and more productive plants come spring. There are best practices that our team will lead you through, whether it's strategic pruning or incorporating mulch, straw, pine needles, leaves, burlap, wood or other materials in an effort to shield, insulate and protect your plants from the elements.

Don't forget gardening maintenance and clean-up! This is a vital part of winterization. Be sure to bring in pots, tools, and other equipment that can take a beating from the elements. Remember to turn those hoses off and empty irrigation lines!
