This studio workshop is for anyone seeking a brief introduction to all the processes

between acquiring wool and finishing a textile. This will include cleaning wool, spinning yarn, dyeing yarn with

local ingredients, as well as weaving on a frame loom and a floor loom. On the floor loom, students will be able

to contribute to a textile which will be given as a gift to Caumsett Park. Due to the artist’s limited equipment,

participants will take turns trying out the different steps in this process.
