Location: Valenzano Winery Date: Sunday, September 13, 2015 Time: 8:00am The Rock It Riders Bike Club of South Jersey will be hosting their second annual Giro d' Vino group ride on Sunday, September 13, 2015, starting from Valenzano Winery, Shamong, NJ. The riders depending on their ability will have various mileage options to choose from on that day including 63, 53, 45, 35, and 20 miles. The roads will be marked and cue sheets will be provided. The routes will be easy to navigate as there will be a lot of straight away roads with very few turns. The cue sheet will follow the beautiful countryside of Southern Burlington County and it will be circling Wharton State Forest and passing through the historic towns Chatsworth and Batsto Village. There will also be a stop along the way at Micks Canoe and Kayak Rental, where the riders can refuel at the General Store which sells water, electrolyte drinks and energy bars. There will also be port-a-johns available at Micks. The ride will be supported by Wheelies Bike Shop 176, Route 70, Medford, NJ. After the completion of the tour the riders will be provided 'carb-up' snacks, fruits and pretzels. $20.00 Registration includes the following: Bike ride Valenzano Winery Bike t-shirt *(If registered before 08/31/15) Souvenir Wine Glass Ticket for 1 complimentary 4 oz glass of wine Soft Pretzels, Texas Roasted Corn, fruits and other post-race carb-up foods.Additional Information
