This event is free and open to all. We’ll be offering a class for Total Beginners and a separate class for more experienced dancers. After classes relax and enjoy social dancing with friends. Complimentary wines and delicious finger foods all night. Special performances and guest teachers! We encourage you to bring friends. The more the merrier! Whether you're straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender, you can explore tango without traditional gender fixed roles. Rainbow Tango promises a welcoming atmosphere to explore the dance of love and acceptance. We invite all levels of dancers; from the totally beginner to the very experienced. No partner necessary, but wear comfortable shoes – smooth soles preferred. Guest Instructors Sidney Grant and Claudio Marcelo Vidal will be teaching a special class. Sidney Grant won the 2011 USA Argentine Tango Championships, the 1st time an openly gay man ever won. In 2013, Claudio was the 1st man in the history of the World Championships in Buenos Aires to wear heels. |
